Our Foundation

KNT Concrete Construction was founded in 2007 by Jose Luis Sanchez, known as Kiko, who has been dedicated to the construction industry since 1992. Kiko’s path to founding the company was shaped by years of hard work and a defining moment on a project near Lafayette, Louisiana. Tasked with fixing a botched job on a school’s flooring with a tight six-week deadline, Kiko and his team completed the project in just five weeks, impressing the school district superintendent. Inspired by their skill and dedication, the superintendent suggested they start their own company, even proposing the name "KNT" as a nod to their craftsmanship and values.

After years of relocating for work, Kiko grew weary of constant transfers and decided to establish his own business. Motivated by the superintendent's suggestion and a desire to build something lasting, Kiko obtained the necessary licenses and founded KNT Concrete Construction. The name "KNT" symbolizes Kiko’s journey, his bond with his team, and the family values that are the foundation of the company’s success.
